An evidence base, not a truth base.

Sinograph is a read-only research instrument over a structured database of Han characters and the sinographic writing system. Every evidence object remains tied to its source, evidence type, caution and policy. Competing claims are shown rather than collapsed into one apparently definitive answer.

The questions remain scholarly questions: which source makes a claim, where accounts conflict, how forms relate across time, and what the available evidence does not establish.

Read-only by design

The workbench reads from a local database through a loopback-only bridge. It does not rewrite the evidence database. Researchers can inspect source policy, collect evidence into a local research tray and build notes or arguments while preserving the distinction between source evidence, derived material, hypotheses and cautions.

Current status

Sinograph is in research development. The current workbench and database are substantial working instruments, but public database access and a release date are not being promised.
